Joyce Banks joined John Gallin & Son in 2005 as Production Assistant. Among her first tasks was developing an efficient tracking system for DOB permitting. Joyce’s system reorganized the entire permitting process from job inception to completion, which ensured that close out packages and sign offs were submitted to clients in a timely manner. Joyce also maintained up-to-date insurance records for all projects. As Assistant to the Vice President of Estimating and Purchasing she has played a key role in reorganizing standard procedures with the estimating staff to ensure timely delivery of bids and to provide effective communication within the Gallin project team so that jobs can quickly commence once awarded.

With the ever-increasing demand for more complex bidding requirements, breakdowns and clarifications, Joyce’s involvement in the estimating process has enabled the Gallin staff to provide our clients with fast and thorough pricing for their construction projects.
