Global News & Media Company

Gallin worked with architects ENV to build out a striking design for this global media and publishing powerhouse. The 28,000 square foot midtown space is decidedly modern, with architectural elements recalling the heyday of print. A wall of vertical slats in reception suggests columns of type, while the cool palate of exposed white ceilings, polished black stone and built-in monochrome photo murals are strongly reminiscent of black and white newsprint. The open plan workstations, lockers, and moveable walls make the space infinitely versatile, while glass-fronted offices, privacy booths, handsome pantry, and expansive conference room are custom-built to serve the unique needs of their busy workforce.
