Block O’Toole & Murphy
When the premier New York law firm Block O’Toole & Murphy outgrew their old space, they worked with the design team at KA Murphy Interiors to come up with something fresh, functional and yes, fun. After gutting the existing space, Gallin, in coordination with architect Vocon and KA Murphy Interiors, performed a literal top to bottom renovation. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls and office fronts allow light to flood the space. Polished concrete and white oak floors keep the look clean and modern. The open-plan pantry and lounge area features custom millwork cabinets and built-in seating. Baffled ceilings from Turf help manage sound and offer visual interest. Finishing touches like a foldable conference room wall, colorful storage lockers, and patterned wall coverings throughout are both practical and pleasing to the eye.
