Carmel Hill Fund

For Carmel Hill Fund, the team at Gregory Switzer Architecture leaned into the hopeful spirit of their client’s mission to foster literacy and mental health in young people. The resulting design is flooded with light streaming through glass walls and bouncing off cheerful bright whites and grass greens found in wall colors, carpeting, and tiles. The two floors of this open, airy duplex are connected by a spiral staircase that’s both practical and playful. Gorgeous millwork, marble wall panels, stunning restroom fixtures, and specialty lighting come together seamlessly in this clean design. And yet behind the fresh façade, Gallin was also responsible for extensive upgrades to the infrastructure, including asbestos abatement, all new ductwork, upgraded electrical, and the installation of a sprinkler and fire alarm system.
