Court 16

Court 16 is an indoor tennis and pickleball club. Its newest downtown location, at 28 Liberty Street, welcomes players of all ages and capabilities. It is a great compliment to the other wonderful amenities like Alamo Drafthouse Cinema and the gorgeous penthouse restaurant Manhatta (another great Gallin client).

The Court 16 project started with a fantastic design from the architectural team at MKDA. The completion of the space was truly a team effort, that took place in phases, with an expansion of the space several months after the initial opening. Gallin was brought in on both occasions to provide the base infrastructure including HVAC, sprinklers, plumbing, wall partitions and bathrooms.

The design team worked with Court 16 and a dedicated pickleball/tennis installation company to add the finishing touches such as court surfaces, netting, and wall padding. The bright, bold result is the only permanent indoor pickleball courts in Lower Manhattan.
