Global Critical Logistics
Global Critical Logistics is in the business of making impressive projects run smoothly and on time. When it came to renovating their offices at Penn1, Gallin was able to do likewise, delivering a stunning result in a tight time frame. The design by Vocon and Von Dalwig called for a gallery-like aesthetic. The mostly open floor plan features abundant natural light, poured concrete floors, exposed ceilings, and a variety of suspended light fixtures. Handsome built-in millwork encloses the heating system in style. A large pantry with custom cabinets runs the length of one wall. Perhaps the most unique touches are an enclosed meeting room and a sectional island on wheels that seem to float in the center of the space, their curved surfaces finished in a matte steel-like facing that adds a distinctive polish.
