Manhatta

The restaurant Manhatta floats 60 stories high above New York Harbor. The architects at MKDA designed a handsome space that echoes the grandeur of these spectacular water views. Gallin’s buildout included an elegant bar of dark polished stone, brass rails, and wood paneling. A recessed gilded ceiling above the bar features decorative pendant lighting. Padded leather banquettes line one side of the lounge, set off by richly colored walls and illuminated risers. At the far end of the lounge a pair of fluted wood doors can be swung wide to reveal one of the many private dining rooms.
